Revenge V

[This book may only be purchased as a Kindle book or paperback through Amazon.]

This is the fifth book in the "Revenge" series. The "Revenge" series are shorter stories that are all based on revenge during the "Frontier Period" (i.e. 1840-1890).

While writing the first four books in this series, ideas for other stories were thought of, but they were all too short. This book contains six of those shorter stories. Each of these stories has an unusual twist near the end of the story.

"Revenge At Glacier" has the founders of the town of Glacier mysteriously being killed with no clues as to who is the killer. The character "Pastor Michael Haggard" is named after Ralph's favorite minister, with his permission.

In "Revenge of the Widow-Maker" a gang robs a bank and does not find out until later that the bank holds the money of widow-maker, who is the fastest gun for hire in the west.

"Revenge of the Victim" is a story of a gang that robs a stage and think they killed everyone, but one passenger survives to hunt them down.

"A Veteran's Revenge" is the first story Ralph has written that is placed in the county where he was born, Dutchess County, New York. The main character, Stanley Foster, comes home from the Civil War to find that his home has been stolen from him and he seeks his revenge. The part about Stanley's grandmother in the story describe's Ralph's grandmother.

In "The Revenge of a Number Five" a young man joins a gang of outlaws and is nicknamed Number Five. The leader of the gang attempts to kill him and Number Five seeks his revenge.

"Revenge Twice" has a triangle of characters. Jesse Layton is seeking revenge against the outlaw Duke Hackett who has kidnapped Jesse's wife in an attempt to get his revenge on Sheriff Bart Ashton.
