Revenge I

This is the first book in a series.  Each book in this series will have at least two stories and set in the America's Frontier Period (1840-1890).  Each story will have the same theme of “Revenge”.

“The Revenge of a Whore”


Kate Anderson is rescued at the age of 5 by traveling whores.  They raise her and she becomes a whore.  She falls in love with a young man and they marry, have two children and make their ranch successful.  Her husband is murdered and she plots her revenge against the man who murdered her husband.

  3. She meets and falls in love with Jack Montgomery and they marry. – Chap. 5-9
  4. They work their farm/ranch and have two children, while fighting off Indians and army deserters. – Chap. 10-17
  5. There is a serious drought and his neighbors rely on their water on Jack’s property. – Chap. 18
  6.  Neighbor repeatedly offers to buy the land and Jack repeatedly says no each time.  Jack is killed by being shot in back. Chap. 19-20
  7.  The ranch is taken away from Kate.-  Chap. 21
  8.  She goes back to live with Lilly in Great Bend. – Chap. 22
  9. Kate learns who killed her husband. – Chap. 23
  10.  Kate plots her revenge against Jack’s killer. – Chap. 24
  11.  Kate kills Jack’s murderer and is sentenced to hang.  – Chap. 25

“The Revenge of the West Texas Raiders”


A group of young men from West Texas go off to fight in the War Between the States.  They become known as the West Texas Raiders.  They come home after the war and find that carpetbaggers have killed their families and stolen their ranches.  They plot their revenge.
