Johnny Ringo – Bounty Hunter: 1881

[This book may only be purchased as a Kindle book through Amazon or paperback on Amazon or Create Space.]

When you are young, the most important people in your life are your parents.  When you get older, then your own family becomes the most important persons in your life.  Losing a wife, adopted daughter, unborn child and best friend in a single morning is a tragedy that no one would wish on anyone.  How would we handle it, especially when it is legal to carry a gun and the persons who were responsible for those deaths have a bounty on them?

Johnny shows the depth of his personal character in this book by how he not only handles this tragedy, but the other tragedies that he encounters along the trail.

With the concept of the Holts added into it, Johnny is not only the one doing the hunting of the Blackie Nelson gang, but he is also the one being hunted by the Holts in a blood feud.  I felt this aspect added a new formula to the average western and also showed the further growth of Johnny.
